Read the small print on “unlimited”.

Unlimited access does not necessarily mean unlimited high-speed data or unlimited hotspot sharing.

Three limits to look for

1. High-speed allowance. Some packages include a daily quantity at full speed, followed by slower service.
2. Reduced speed. Read the speed after the allowance is used and when it resets. Suitability for calls or streaming depends on actual conditions.
3. Hotspot policy. Sharing can have a separate allowance or restriction, even when phone data is described as unlimited.

How our comparison handles it

Unlimited plans are labeled separately from fixed data. We display source-provided fair-use notes when available and never treat a technical quantity in a provider data record as a promise of unlimited high-speed GB. Unknown hotspot details stay unverified.

Ask before purchase

Tell the provider your destination, duration and intended use, particularly for laptop work or video meetings. Confirm any activation deadline, refund restriction and fair-use condition on the exact selected package.
